Tristan and I were blown away by our experience with Love Frankly. Matt was absolutely brilliant — from the very first email to receiving our photos, he was consistent, flexible, professional, approachable and easy going (which really helped with our nerves on the day!). Matt met our expectations in more ways than imagined, and went above and beyond to execute breathtaking snapshots of our special day.
Firstly, we were in awe of Love Frankly’s portfolio of Engagement and Wedding sessions, including Matt’s very own wedding shoot, and side projects. We loved how Matt captured beautiful details, those ‘in-the-moment’ shots that can often go unnoticed, some even moving me to tears. Choosing Love Frankly was an easy feat, based on the sheer diversity of settings, artistic, photo-journalistic and emotive styles. Matt’s work speaks volumes and clearly illustrates his passion, creativity and methodic approach, which really resonated with us. I never wanted superficial, excessive-photoshopped cheesy snaps with a pushy sales pitch and gratefully, Love Frankly were never that.
Tristan and I had an intimate wedding on Kits beach, with the signing taking place at our marriage commissioner’s house. Matt put in a huge effort prior to the ceremony to ensure timely arrival by planning ahead of the game – parking is tricky in public locations. We didn’t have very much time, but Matt did a sterling job of fitting everything in and was super accommodating. We loved every moment being in front of the camera because we were at ease embracing the vision of a professional who knew how to make us look and feel our best.
Our photographs arrived quicker than initially outlined, and they were of course stunning! We are so so grateful. Beautiful compositions, candid shots, professional direction, masterful post-production and a lot more was what we gained with Matt.
